I am on the teacher's advisory board for The Harlan Institute, a non-profit organization committed to promoting an understanding of the U.S. Constitution. The organization has recently partnered with Justice O'Connor's iCivics group. The first initiative of the Harlan Institute is FantasySCOTUS.org - a fantasy Supreme Court league, which begins this fall. I teach a senior level - semester course in US Gov/Pol and am hoping to use Ning for blogging - I have about 80 students and am wondering if anyone is blogging and what system you have worked out for grading? There are too many kids for me to have each one create a blog thread - and respond, but I need some way to hold them accountable. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm a teacher form Ontario and Started to created a Ning network for secondary high school students, as well as an online civics text book.
If you are interesting in collaborating take a look. I'd like my studnets to have a way to talk about global -civics issues with another class.
