Innovation and Creativity: Some Thoughts

I am copying this post from my blog because I think it is appropriate for this group of educators; educators who don't care about how much time it takes to learn a new program, or tool, in order to get across an important concept to their students who may have been having trouble learning. Why are we using tech in our classes? A lot of it has to do with creativity, and I believe that is one of the magic ingredients to happiness and fulfillment in your job AND in your life.

I'm currently not in the classroom this year - as an instructional coach, I work with all teachers at my high school to help develop curriculum and assessments - although social studies is still my speciality since I was a social studies teacher for 6 years.
