I am looking forward to focusing on Ghana in the coming weeks. As it happens, we have man who is a weaver from Ghana coming to our school to teach us about kente cloth in a few weeks, which will fit in perfectly!

In the past we have focused on the continent of Africa as a whole in social studies, and I think it would be more meaningful to focus in on one specific country. I was wondering if you have any suggestions for resources. We have a lot of artifacts available. Also, I would love to know more about your continents unit.
