How Do We Motivate Consistent Engagement & Quality Work in 21st Century Students?

I am currently pursuing this question in my Masters program.

 

It stems from living in a time and place where I feel our generation can be best described as

 

"Doing less (quality work) with more (resources than ever before)."

The use of primary sources

The use of primary sources exposes students to important historical concepts. First, students become aware that all written history reflects an author's interpretation of past events. Therefore, as students read a historical account, they can recognize its subjective nature. Second, through primary sources the students directly touch the lives of people in the past.
